Cookie policy

We have created a Cookie Policy as part of our project not only to comply with recent regulations but also to ensure transparency and clarity about what happens when you visit our website.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on a computer, tablet, or mobile phone when you browse the internet, allowing the device to be recognized later. The cookies we place do not directly identify you as an individual; they only recognize the device you are using.

Cookies do not harm your device in any way but enable many important website features. For example, they allow you to return to previously visited pages. They also help keep the website secure, remember your preferences, and personalize the website content to better suit your needs.

Additionally, these cookies are used to collect information on how users interact with the website. We use this information to generate reports and improve the website. The cookies collect anonymous data, including the number of visitors, where they come from, and the pages they visited. Click here for an overview of Google’s privacy policy.

If cookies are not enabled on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone, your browsing experience may be limited (for example, you may not be able to navigate the site fully).

The cookies used on our websites fall into two categories defined by the Italian Data Protection Authority (“Garante Privacy”) in its general provision known as the “Cookie Provision” of May 8, 2014. We comply with these regulations regarding information disclosure and the necessity/method of obtaining consent, which was later updated to align with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) of the European Parliament and Council, effective May 25, 2018. This policy also extends the brief banner displayed when a user first connects to the website.

Based on the Italian Data Protection Authority’s provision and EU Regulation 2016/679, our websites and apps use third-party “profiling cookies,” which are potentially used to create/enrich user profiles and serve advertisements aligned with the user’s navigation preferences. User consent (optional) is always required for the use of such cookies. Users can choose which profiling cookies to allow. In the case of third-party cookies or technologies installed/used on the site by third parties, consent is given or denied directly to the cookie owner via a link provided.

The following profiling/non-technical cookies from Google Analytics are used:

Supplier Name Purpose Expiry Type
__utma htt.it/en Tracks the number of times a user visits the website, as well as the first and last visit date. Used by Google Analytics. Expires in 2 years.
__utmb htt.it/en Records the exact timestamp of a user’s entry to the site. Used by Google Analytics to calculate visit duration. Expires at session end.
__utmc htt.it/en Records the exact timestamp of a user’s exit from the site. Used by Google Analytics to calculate visit duration. Expires at session end.
__utmt htt.it/en Used to limit request rate to the website. Expires at session end.
__utmv htt.it/en Saves user tracking parameters for Google Analytics use. Expires at session end.
__utmz htt.it/en Collects data on user origin, search engine used, clicked link, and search term. Used by Google Analytics. Expires in 6 months.
__utm.gif google-analytics.com Google Analytics Tracking Code that logs details about the visitor’s browser and device. Expires at session end

These cookies can be disabled by following the instructions at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.

You can also manage or disable cookies directly from your browser settings.

Additional persistent cookies and session cookies (which disappear when the browser is closed) are strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (random numbers generated by the server) necessary for safe and efficient website navigation. The session cookies used on this site help prevent the use of other potentially harmful technologies that could compromise user privacy and do not collect personally identifiable information.

A necessary cookie is used to remember your choice regarding cookie settings. This can be modified at any time:
CookieConsent (htt.it/en): Stores the user’s cookie consent status for the current domain. Expires in 1 year

Cookies on our website are set to OPT-IN mode: if you do not accept them, they will not be used
